You can view your subscriptions, edit and disable the automatic renewal directly after purchase in the settings. If you do not disable your subscription, your iTunes account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of your subscription with the corresponding amount.
A refund is not possible. You should want to cancel the subscription during the term. You will receive all Issues until the end of the completed subscription in any case.
